NEW INSTRUCTORS ASSOCIATION FORMED

CLEARWATER, FL With support from some of the industry’s leading names, the Martial Arts Teachers’ Association ws recently launched here. According t founder John Graden, the man responsible for some of the most successful professional martial arts organizations in world, it will support instructors of all styles with continuing education, resources and networking.
"At its highest level, teaching is the most valuable gift we can share," he said. "MATA will focus on helping teachers add value to their classes and grow their schools. We will accomplish this by providing a single, central community for teachers and owners to gain access to educational and business information."
The headquarters for MATA is MartialArtsBusiness.com. It offers a wide range of educational resources, including a library of articles, video and audio clips, pre-designed ads, newsletters, forms and correspondence. It will soon establish moderated discussion listservs specializing in various aspects of running a school.
