Kamas

Bos

Bo Staffs: is simply a long stick that was originally used to carry buckets of water and food-it was known as ten bin. The bo is round smooth and solid. A standard bo is a tabering stick of wood 1 1/4 in. the middle and 3/4 in.at each end. The tapering gives the bo both flexibility and strength as well as making the center easy to find. Bo Staff Styles :There are several different styles and sizes of Bo Staffs.

Nunchakus

Nunchaku - Originally this was a wooden flail used to crush rice and consisted of two unequal lengths of hardwood connected by a cord made of horse hair. The modern Nunchaku have octagonal (hakkakukei) or round (maru-gata) wooden handles of equal length connected by a length of rope or chain. A vine (kanda) can also be used as a longer connector, in order to bind an opponent's head and hands together in an "Okinawan Handcuff."

Escrima

Kali, Escrima, and Arnis are the terms for the fighting arts of the Philippines. Kali is a South Term, Escrima more Central, and Arnis is from the North. There are 12 areas of combat in Kali, with Escrima containing 8 or 9 of them, and Arnis 4 to 6.

Tonfa

Tonfa - Handles consisting of two billets made of hardwood. A long handle is set about six inches from one end of each billet. It can be used to block or parry another weapon and can also be spun in a circular motion to thrust or strike.
